RideCut

Free to use. Pro when you want Claude's eye.

Everything that happens on your computer is free, with no account. RideCut Pro is a subscription for the one part that runs elsewhere: having Claude look at each moment and rate it.

Free

$0

Open a folder, analyze, review the cut, render the movie. The built-in scoring reads motion, GPS and the GoPro's sensors; it works offline and never sends your footage anywhere.

  • Any mix of GoPro, phone, camera and drone files
  • Landscape or portrait, up to 4K
  • Speed, altitude, climb angle and mini-map overlays, with a GPX track if you have one
  • Rating with Claude through your own Anthropic key, billed by Anthropic

Pro

$8 a month

Everything in Free, plus rating with Claude through your RideCut sign-in. No API key, no Anthropic account, and RideCut knows what each moment costs before it asks.

  • 3,000 contact sheets a month, one per moment Claude rates
  • About ten full analyses of a long ride, since an analyze sends up to 300 moments
  • A re-analyze reuses ratings it already has, so repeats are nearly free
  • Cancel any time from inside the app; the month you paid for runs out first

Sign in from the account bar inside RideCut and choose Upgrade. Payment is handled by Stripe.

What a contact sheet is

Before asking Claude about a moment, RideCut lays four frames from it on one small image, a contact sheet. Claude sees that sheet, not the video, and returns a rating and a few words on why. One sheet is one moment. The sheets are sent and forgotten; nothing is stored on our side except the count.

Why there are two ways to rate

Claude's time has a price, and someone pays it. With your own Anthropic key you pay Anthropic directly for exactly what you use, which suits people who already have a key. Pro bundles it into one flat amount with a generous ceiling, so you do not have to think about tokens. RideCut without either is a complete tool; the ratings make the cut better, not possible.
