Installing on Windows

Run the installer. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" because the installer is not yet signed with a certificate: click "More info", then "Run anyway". RideCut installs for your user only and needs no administrator password.

Installing on a Mac

Open the disk image and drag RideCut into Applications. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without warnings. Choose the Apple silicon build on an M1 or later Mac, and the Intel build on older ones; About This Mac tells you which you have.

RideCut checks for updates itself and installs them with one click, so you only need this page once. Every version, with its notes, is on the releases page.
